Lin MacDonald Reaches Finalist Position in UK’s Industry Awards
I was thrilled to have been shortlisted in the search for the UK’s Outstanding Virtual Assistant of 2011. I believe this will demonstrate to my clients and prospective clients my professionalism, commitment and approach to providing an outstanding service as well as my support to fellow VAs.
This is the only national awards scheme of its kind for VAs in the UK and Europe I felt extremely proud to have finished among the final five entrants of this prestigious award as the winner was announced at the 5th National VA Conference and Awards held on 17th June 2011.
The awards were launched at the inaugural National VA Conference and Awards in April 2007 as part of a nationwide campaign to promote and boost awareness of the VA industry as well as a quest to find the most outstanding VA by Founder, Carmen MacDougall, of The VA Coaching and Training Company.
VAs support their clients, from around the globe, providing PA and business support, working from their own office, communicating with clients via the internet.
It is hoped the awards scheme, in association with The Society of Virtual Assistants, will promote a wider understanding of the rapidly developing industry. Judges include Xero.com, Reed Learning, Mums the Business, The Web Tech Club and Enterprise Nation.
